The challenge

Having more data doesn't mean making better decisions.

Flowix could identify foot traffic, store entries, audience profile, behavior and area performance. The UX challenge was to organize this information so managers could quickly understand what was happening in the physical space.

Complexity

Multiple indicators from computer vision could create information overload and make business interpretation harder.

Goal

Prioritize information that answers users' main questions and supports decisions about operations, layout and service.

We didn't need to show everything the AI could identify. We needed to show what helped someone make a decision.
Strategy

Connect physical behavior to a simple business view.

01ObserveCameras capture behavior in the environment.
02InterpretAI turns images into events and indicators.
03UnderstandThe dashboard organizes patterns and opportunities.
04DecideThe manager turns insight into action.
Solution

From raw data to context.

Dashboard analítico Flowix

Decision-oriented dashboard

Traffic, entries, profile and behavior were organized into a visual hierarchy that enables quick scanning and progressive detail.

Location management

The platform also needed to support multiple stores, allowing teams to create, edit and track active and inactive locations in one environment.

Monitored areas

Users can define directly on the camera image which regions they want to monitor, connecting the physical space to dashboard indicators.

UX decisions

Less visible technology. More clarity for the user.

Decision-oriented informationThe dashboard prioritizes metrics tied to managers' main questions.
From numbers to physical spaceMonitored areas and heatmaps connect indicators to the reality of the store.
Hidden complexityAI and computer vision work behind the scenes while the experience remains simple.
Outcome

From cameras used to observe to a platform capable of explaining behavior inside the store.

Flowix turns what happens in the physical space into information that helps managers identify patterns, opportunities and next steps.

The case prioritizes product and UX decisions. Quantitative metrics should only be added when supported by real research or usage data.
