The challenge

The problem wasn't placing orders. It was understanding everything happening around them.

Customers needed to track status, deliveries, volumes and pending issues across different stages of the operation. The information existed, but it took effort to interpret.

Before

Too much data, little prioritization and difficulty quickly identifying what required attention.

Goal

Turn the portal into a simple operational view, with context, clear statuses and obvious next steps.

The experience needed to answer three questions: what is happening, what needs attention and what can I do now.
Strategy

Organize the experience around the customer journey, not the system's internal structure.

01RequestCreate a new order.
02TrackUnderstand which stage it is in.
03ScheduleView deliveries and dates.
04ConfirmTrack billing and completion.
Solution

Less effort to interpret. More clarity to act.

Dashboard

Operational dashboard

Orders, pending issues, volumes and scheduling consolidated into a single view, with clearer hierarchy and focus on what truly requires attention.

New order

A flow organized into logical steps, reducing unnecessary fields and helping users complete requests with greater confidence.

Search and filters help users quickly find specific orders and understand their status without opening each record.

Design decisions

The visual modernization needed to improve readability, not just appearance.

HierarchyImportant indicators gain prominence while secondary data has less visual weight.
Clear statusesConsistent colors and labels make each stage easier to recognize quickly.
Contextual actionsCTAs appear close to the decision point, reducing navigation effort.
Outcome

From a process-oriented portal to an experience centered on the customer's operation.

The redesign brings context, status and actions together in a simpler, more consistent and easier-to-understand experience.

For portfolio presentation, quantitative outcomes should only be included when supported by real research, analytics or operational data.
